Portable design - with 150/750 reflector telescope
Cant wait to get out of the house to view the Orion Nebula or the Pleiades? With this telescope, you can search for the perfect observation spot: thanks to the short focal length, the tube is short and easy to transport. In addition, the premium equatorial mount allows even beginners to set up the telescope in no time. Tracking is also very simple you can compensate for the earths movements manually so that your observed objects stay within the field of view. To ensure maximum viewing comfort, the focuser on this Newton reflector telescope is attached to the side of the tube. The aluminium tripod is height-adjustable and features an accessory tray so that you can keep all your important gear within reach. The 6x30 finder scope with reticle allows you to align the telescope with objects in the night sky. The reticle indicates the position at which your telescope is pointing. If you want to capture images of your nighttime discoveries, you can connect your smartphone to the telescope via the smartphone camera adapter.

Established technology for your easy start – the telescope
With this entry-level telescope, you will be able to admire the night sky through a classic Newtonian reflector. A little surprising for astronomy novices: with this particular type, you do not look in at the back of the telescope, but at the front and laterally. The advantage: even if the telescope aperture is directed vertically towards the sky, you can make your discoveries very comfortably. No need to bend down! In addition, the Newtonian reflector is very easy to use. The optics in this type of reflector telescopes are also impressive, because they are free of chromatic aberrations – resulting in good imaging properties at all times.
A sharp image with good contrast – the Venus reflector telescope achieves this with its large focal ratio of about 1 to 9.2 (F/9.2 – calculated from 76 mm aperture and 700 mm focal length). Thanks to its long focal length, the telescope for beginners shows you the Moon, Sun, planets, open star clusters as well as globular clusters in a particularly impressive way. And all this at a magnification of up to 150x in really sharp images! Technically, you can magnify even higher – theoretically up to 525x while using the included accessories. However, as the magnification increases, the sharpness of the image may slowly decrease. Of course, how much you can magnify depends not only on the resolving power of your telescope. The air turbulence in the atmosphere (seeing conditions) also plays an important role.

The Explore Sicneitific 150mm/750mm Reflector Telescope excels with high rigidity, superior built quality and tack-sharp parabolic optics.
The 150mm aperture enables you to observe bright nebulas in the depth of space. Find the remnants of a gigantic stellar explosion from the year 1054 in the Taurean constellation, or scan the glowing bands of the great Orion Nebula. Detect the famous Whirlpool Galaxy in the Big Dipper or find the Dumpbell-Nebula in the constellation Vulpecula (little fox).
The EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC 150 is also equipped with a large 2.0'' focuser which allows the use of 2.0'' eyepieces and 2.0" barlows with even larger fields of view. The included eyepiece adapter 2.0'' to 1.25'' allows the use of all 1.25'' eyepieces. EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC has not spared any expensse and also equipped this telescope with a high-quality parabolic primary mirror. Manual German Equatorial telescope

Accessories Included
Accessories include a 20mm and 10mm eyepiece, a finderscope, and a motor drive. The two eyepieces offer different magnifications for low and high powered views. The 20mm has a built-in erect image corrector.
Motor Drive -Turn your manual German equatorial mount into a tracking mount by adding the included RA motor drive to your telescope. This easy-to-install RA motor drive compensates for the Earth’s rotation, so the telescope tracks a star’s movement through the night sky from east to west. When the telescope mount is properly polar aligned and the RA drive is attached and running, the user need only make occasional adjustments in declination (Dec) to keep an object in the eyepiece for long periods of time. The Celestron single-axis motor drive runs on a 9V battery, so there are no cords to get in the way. The drive can be used in either the Northern or Southern Hemisphere. To change hemispheres (reverse the motor’s direction), simply by flip the N/S switch on the face of the motor drive. It is also simple to change the speed of the motor. A “Speed Rate Regulator” knob is located just under the power indicator and can be turned in either direction to slow down or speed up the motor. Since solar system objects like the Moon and planets move through the sky at different rates than deep-sky objects do, this gives you the ability to match the motor’s speed to the particular type of object you are observing.
